Electric Delivery
YEV Mobility Africa is committed to job creation and community upliftment in South Africa. Through EVMA Academy, we recruit young people aged 18 to 34 who want to develop the skills to work in last-mile delivery, with a particular focus on youth and women who face barriers to entering the sector.
EVMA negotiates offtake agreements with last-mile delivery companies across South Africa to create opportunities for trained riders. Our aim is to connect eligible drivers with available delivery work as soon as they have obtained the required motorcycle learner’s and driver’s licences, completed the necessary training, and met the onboarding requirements of the relevant delivery partner.

No motorcycle licence yet? You can still register your interest. EVMA is involved in funding projects that seek to cover training and licensing support for young people who cannot otherwise afford to get started. The support available will depend on the funding and requirements of each programme.
